In 1953, Ahlgren's candy factory in Gävle decided to start producing marshmallows. The result was not at all what was expected. Instead, there were small pieces of foam candy that resembled a car in shape. Simply an accident at work. However, the cars turned out to taste amazingly good and it was decided not to change anything. The rest is history!
