Thin bread roll - From the grill

The flatbread roll
with sausage and mashed potatoes is said to have been invented in the mid-1960s by Elov "Loffe" Bråtfors, when he ran Loffe's Grill in Stuvsta. In the original version, it is said to have had Boston gherkins as the only side dish in addition to mustard and ketchup.
Do you eat your flatbread roll with cooked/grilled sausage 2 or 1 in the roll?
